TKP is used as a water softener, fertilizer, liquid soap, food additive, etc. It can be made by adding potassium hydroxide to dipotassium hydrogen phosphate solution.
(1)Used in the manufacture of liquid soap, gasoline refining, high quality paper, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, boiler water softener.
(2)In agriculture, TKP is an important agricultural fertiliser that provides the phosphorus and potassium elements required by crops, promotes crop growth and development, increases crop yields and improves crop quality.
(3)In food processing, TKP can be used as a preservative, flavouring agent and quality improver. For example, in meat processing, it is often used to improve the water retention and flavour of meat.
(4)In industry, TKP is widely used in the manufacture of coatings, paints, inks and other products.
(5)On electroplating, printing and dyeing and other fields. TKP can be used to formulate various electroplating solutions. For example, adding an appropriate amount of tripotassium phosphate to galvanising solution can improve the toughness and corrosion resistance of the plating layer; adding an appropriate amount of TKP to chromium plating solution can improve the hardness and abrasion resistance of the plating layer. In addition, TKP can also be used as a cleaning agent and rust remover, playing an important role in metal processing and machinery manufacturing.
(6)Due to its high refractive index and hardness, TKP is widely used in the production of ceramic and glass products. In ceramic products, TKP improves the light transmission and heat resistance of the products; in glass products, it improves the hardness and impact resistance of the products.
(7)In the medical field, TKP is used as a preservative and disinfectant due to its ability to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi. In addition, it has applications in the treatment of specific diseases.
(8)TKP is also an important chemical reagent and pharmaceutical raw material. It can be used in the preparation of various drugs and chemical reagents, such as phosphate buffers, deodorants and antistatic agents. In addition, TKP can also be used to make corrosion inhibitors, water repellents and other industrial supplies.
